When I bought my '88 6 years ago I was pleased that it still had the owner's manual, etc. in that nifty velvet folder they gave you when you bought the car. It even still had the warranty card, the tire warranty, the whole package. Also, I found the demo cassette tape they gave you if you had premium sound. Last week I came across a pristine dealer's brochure for the '88 Thunderbird. Now, does anyone know if copies of the window stickers can be had? Some years ago I was able to get a copy for my '76 Cobra II after I gave the source the VIN. I think I went through a regristry for that but I can't remember for sure. I could live without it, but it would be nice to have and it may add value to the car later on.
I don't know of anyone doing window stickers. We heard that Marti bought access rights to Ford data for later years like they have for 1967-73 Fords and would eventually be offering Production statistics, dataplates and tag, and production history reports for. http://www.martiauto.com/
Thanks Pete.
