I'm getting ready to buy new tires and wondered if any one has pictures of their car with the stock wheels and 225/55/16 tires on them.
The 55`s are a bit shorter then the 60`s (as you know)and just wanted to see that they don't make the wheel wells look too big or wheel/tires look too small.
I will be lowering the car sometime after I find the Mustang stuff so I will be driving her this way for a while.
Thanks,,
I had 245/50/16's on my snowflakes and it looked hot. Not sure how the 225/55's would look though.
hey, I tried 225/55/16 on mine and it looked retarded! luckily the tire shop let me put 245/50/16 tires on. It looks and handles great

Hummm,, Looking at the difference between the two sizes the 245 are only 3/10 of an inch taller and .8 wider.

How did they look funny if you don't mind me asking.
Here is the bird I recently picked up. I am pretty sure they are 225/55/16s. They might be 225/50/16s(if that even works on a snowflake rim). I will double check when I get home. At any rate I swapped my set of 225/60/16 tiger paws back on from my old bird.

smaller tires on this car I think looks stupid, but that's just me.
Hmmm, I checked the tires and they are 255/50/16.
