North American Turbocoupe Organization

How are the emblems "TURBOCOUPE" and "THUNDERBIRD" attached to the trunk lid? Are they just tape, or do the emblems have pins that go through the trunklid skin?

"Turbo Coupe" is tape only. "Thunderbird" has two pins, be careful!

Are you doing a resto job? If not I put the turbocoupe one on mine and I used a 95 Mustang ford oval on the opposite side, instead of the Tbird emblem. Throws alot of people off trying to figure out the year and leads to good conversation

Actually Michael, the Thunderbird has 3 pins

The ones on the trunk have no pins. The ones on the header panel and behind the rear-seat side windows have pins.

He has an 88, which has 3 pins on the "Thunderbird" as Spooler so reminded me of (been awhile :p ).

Oops I got mine out of a yard, and thought it was off of a 87/88, but that was a few years ago.

I've pulled dozens and I forgot it was 3 prongs and not 2
