What's the best glue to put the Thunder Bird back on my trunk lid? Fell off ages ago and not too sure what's the best way to reattach it.

Just so you can see where I'm talking about, hard to see but it's missing. Not too sure why there's no Turbo Coupe on the lid.

Get some stuff called "GOOP". They make an automotive variety (silver tube, kinda like how you buy silicone). It's at most parts stores and Wal-Marts.
Thanks sweetie, now I can accomplish something on my car.
Clean all the wax off of the car first.
The trunk logos were originally held on with a special closed-cell double sided tape. When I painted JR, I was successful in putting them back on using some white foam double sided tape, kind of like carpet tape. It required a lot of trimming before they were completely "clean" and ready to install, but IMO was easier than having to clean up excess "goop" after gluing the logos on. Also will be easier to remove in the future if needed, at least IMHO.

Or call a local body shop and find out where they get finish trim accessories from locally.
The body guy that did up my wreck turned me on to one very close to me. Although I haven't been in there personally, he says getting rear window rubber that looks close to stock shouldn't be a problem when I'm ready. A quality body supply shop will get creative since they're in the business of making old cars new again.
Not just saying "obsolete" when they can't find it"
Any dealership body shop will still have that double sided junk. They also use a new stuff that you press the back of the logo on, and it sticks ONLY to the parts it was pressed to. Made by 3M. I just transfers onto the back of your logo. I used this on the "Turbo Coupe" logo on the back of my car, and it hasnt peeled pulled up or came loose yet....and that was a year ago. The best part was NO TRIMMING.
I want some of that!!!
I used a 3M product called "Plastic Emblem and Trim Adhesive". It came from one of the parts stores, goes on clear, dries clear, holds great.

I tried a bunch of different tapes and could never trim them to my liking.
