Hey Everyone,

My Sunroof leaks like it's open... even when it is closed!

I will be painting the car this winter, so while I have it all apart, now would be the best time to replace the seals. Any leads on where to look to order the right seals and get this repaired?

Would be a real bummer to have the car look like glass BUT have the interior always foggy and wet.

Adam
Make sure your drain tubes in the corners are free of any debris that would keep it from draining properly.
OOOH that is a good idea. Didn't know that there was such a thing.

I will pull the sun roof in the next couple of weeks when I prep the body for paint, change the seal then and inspect the drain tubes. I would think that the drains would both be clogged, as there was a thick coating of crap all over this car when I got it. Remember that it was rescued from sitting in a field for years.

What Brett12 said, doubled.

I've done two TC sunroofs with the sunroofdoctor.com kit, and all I can say is wow! what an amazing difference in sealing and interior sound level. Follow the instructions to the "T" and take your time, all will be well and you'll be a happy TC'er!
Hey Adam, just one word of caution..... The 3M product used to attach the seal can me tricky. Make sure you spend the time to clean the surface completely and don't over use the adhesive cause it dries quickly if it over-shoots your new gasket. Worked perfect to eliminate all my wind noise, good luck!

Good info!

Looking forward to attacking it... just as soon as I can work the darn thing out of the car!
