Wow these things for your tires and wheels work great. I cant believe how good these things work. A box of 4 at walmart was like 4 bucks. I used two at a time one for each side. I recommend using these on your tires and wheels guys
Yup,and if your kid ever rights with crayon on a freshly painted wall they work wonders on that too, dont ask how I knowSmile
fyi do not use the car cleaning ones for the house they sell separete ones todo this. probably a reason to up sell but they say not todo it.
Yeah I have used both. The ones for the car and house use, they are both great and recommend them also.
I use those on a daily basis at work. Last week (I wish I could have taken pictures) I had to repair 4 printers that are in a Rockwell Automation factory and were dirty as all hell. Mr clean sponges and a little simple green made them look brand new! I dont care what you have to clean I think those would work GREAT! After reading a previous post I think Ill try to clean my headlights with one. YOu never know! (it may work)
The Mr. Clean pads are abrasive and the box says not to use them on anything that has a polished/high luster surface, and not to use them on the body of the car or otherwise painted surfaces. I wouldn't use them on headlights, they may get scratched up.

I bought a pack but I haven't gotten to use them yet. I'm hoping to get my wheels cleaned up with one so I can start refinishing them.

Ryan,

Did you buy the original Magic Eraser (all white) or the newer Magic Eraser DUO (has a blue scrubber on one side)?
From what I have seen, that warning only pertains to the DUO not the original. I have been using the original style Magic Eraser for over a year now and I can't see where it would be a problem on the plastic headlights.

BTW, I have been buying the Target brand of these and they are less expensive but work just as well.

I bought the standard ones. It says not to use them on those surfaces right on the box. I also bought some of the 50% stronger ones for my wheels. I haven't used them yet, just going by whats on the box.

Fair enough, I haven't run into that issue yet, but there must be some finishes out there that it has an issue with.
Thanks for the info.

Ummm, about the abrasives..... Plastix is meant specifically for headlights. You know how it works to clean hazing and scratches? A fine abrasive.
