My suggestion before you try to put performance parts in it is to drive it. In my past lot of cars i think the count is 6 and that is the turbo coupes... I have found that you need to drive for a while first before you know what kind of crap they will give you. How many miles? No matter the miles go thru the FAQ's and find the "just got a car what do i check". Do alot of reasearch and find out alot about the car this is the place to do it. Get the door fixed asap same thing happend to me almost costed me the whole dam door and for shure ruined my paint. Its kinda hard unless you got small hands. congrats on having the same first car i got watch out though cops love them i know becasue i am one and i have been caught bty my fellow blues and also written by a few of the jerks. of course i would write me too if i were going 95 in a 70... oops did i mention these cars are smooth?

1988 TC Blue 5sp low miles no mods as of yet still gettin endumacated.
For performance parts use the search function and look at the fastest TC list for ideas. Beginners mods is also in the FAQ section. For stock type parts we have a part numbers section.

Any specific part?

there are three 87-88 styles in Port St Lucie. Mine being one of them. ive seen a countless number of 83-86 models driving around
If the car was cared for that many miles is not a problem. It is a sweet car for a first car but be careful. These cars can get you in trouble pretty quick. The law is only part of that trouble. Rain can be an interesting experience in these cars. The limited slip rear plus a good amount of torque building as the boost comes up out of a corner can put you into a spin real fast even on a dry road.
Enjoy your new car!
I agree with you reeve. My car has 240,000. But the car is in excellent shape.
