I have a88 tc and in the process of installing new head went to hook ic but something is wrongmetal tube goes from tb to turbo via a hose . Has someone slipped an 86 or older motor in my car part number of tube ise3ze-9f695-bc nay ideas.

You either have an 86 motor or someone have converted the IHI turbo to a T3 and just decided not to run the IC. Does the valve cover have a dip in it? If it does then most likely the motor is an 87-88. If you have a valve cover that says Ford turbo it is probably a 83-86.
