I'm trying to put new sway bar bushings in but the bolts are completly rusted out. The first one I tried already broke, even after using PB, heat, and a BFH! Does anybody know what size these nuts and bolts are?? I have a feeling that all 4 are gonna bust on me...

O yea, Is it possible to bend a sway bar endlink? I just put in new ones from Energy Susp. in June and the drivers side is bent slightly. Did I put them in wrong or what?

Thanks
Anthony
Not sure on the bolts and you will undestand why I don't want to pull one out to measure it [Image: biggrin.gif]

End links can be bent but I don't know if they can bend on the car?? What I have heard is to tighten the end links until the bushings are compressed to about the diameter of the metal retainers/washers. The weight of the car has to be on the wheels when the tightening is done.

Pete,
I understand [Image: biggrin.gif] its a real pain if theve never been replaced before.
I've got some M10X1.25 nuts and bolts, the nut fits and threads on the swaybar bolt fine but the original requires a 15mm socket while the M10's I have are 17mm...

With the endlinks, I put the car on ramps to install them. I think the problem is the sway bar bushings though. On the drivers side there is a gap between the bar and the bushing big enough to see through [Image: rolleyes.gif]

Thanks
Anthony

I found the following number for the bolts in the manual:
N804117-S160, tighten to 37-50 ft lbs

Thank you Pete. It looks like I'm gonna have to fork out the cash for bolts from the dealer...
