I finally got done with my 3g upgrade [Image: biggrin.gif]. But I am still having a problem when running at WOT. I can get whatever boost I set the gillis to, currently 15psi, but I am not able to tach over 3.5 grand. If I put the car in nutral it will tach all the way up, but under load 3.5 is it.

Thanks,
James

What happens when you hit 3500? Does it miss, like ignition? Does it run out of fuel? Is it leaking boost?
Does it fall on it's face really hard? Might be the vam hose collapsing.

check your fuel pressure, if thats ok, it porlly ignition
When you check fuel press, do it with gauge taped to windshield so you can see press under WOT & boost. SHould be base (39 psi stock) plus boost press.

Thanks guys! I found my rev limiter. The guy who had the car before me installed a front mount K&N and used a 3" rubber hose to get it from the vam to the K&N located in front of the radiator. I found the rubber hose was collapsing at the 90 where it turns to go in front of the radiator. She finally tachs out, builds boost, and puts a smile on my face.

The only problem I am having now is if I try to run it WOT before it warms up it will sputter and run terrible. once it warms up it runs fine, any suggestions. I know I should let it warm up anyway, but it still should not do this.

Thanks,
James

Pull the codes.

I will pull the codes today. I actually have a motor and tranny I am pulling out of my parts car. I was planning on taking some time and building it up right and then swapping it into the car. I just wanted to make sure that I had everything working before I did that. But if the problem is in the engine I guess it is time to start deciding which parts I want to use. I will still pull the codes to see if it is something simple. Now if I can just find a hidden stash of money somewhere I'll be set.
My car used to stall if I didn't give it time to warm up and then I got on it. I changed the coolant temperature sensor and now I can start it and never stall.
