After some time huniting one down that was close to me I finally bought one.
Its an 88 5 speed car in silver with blue colth interieor, moon roof, and all the other fun stuff except the eq and tripminder.
It needs the windows glued back on the track and a heater core, not that big of a deal.
Im hoping to make it run harder than my dads maurder.
Cool. There are some good things here in the FAQ, and tech sections. I just bought an 87 a few months back and I am very pleased with just the 3" exhaust and intake so far, and I switched to an LA3 computer. You should already have the LA3.

for the windows going back on the track make sure you use urethane adhesive. I used epoxy and some other stuff and each time they fail. Urethane!

The mercury maurader is a sweet car...but not fast stock. 15 second in the 1/4. Now if modified all bets are off. A mildly modded TC should be fine. Check out the basic performance mods in the FAQ's.

Agreed... a stock Maurader isnt that fast stock. If I remember stock it put out just a hair over 300 HP thru a power sucking 4R70W 4 speed auto tranny, plus the Merc probably weighs 800 pounds more than a TC. A modded TC with a 5 speed should take out your old man.
Thanks for the support... The maurder runs a 15.1 at 94. Its a turd in the 1/8th but after that it starts runnin hard.
Im figurin that the tc needs around 350 to the ground for it to have suitable power, but for now I have to work out the bugs it has.
