the other week my brother had my car at work and he works at a ford dealer hes a tech and he said my distributor was turned the wrong way well looking at the pic on the device and sensor locations i see that the tfi is supposed to be going the same direction as the motor or pretty close and looking at mine it is going the other way like the same way as the fire wall or front end, is this a problem and should i put it back how its supposed to go, and if so how should i do this
is it running fine?
super rich and misses like hell, ive changed just about every sensor so far in the damn thing too
Did this just start or after you brother took it in the shop? Does the idle smooth out when you turn the distributor when you try to adjust it? I bet your cam timing may be off a tooth or two. Did you run the code to see if anything cam up? Just some food for thought.
it has been like this since i bought the car almost a month ago, the pic pete sent that is not where mine is at it sits with the tfi going the other way, that goes in the direction of the car (-)mine is going across the car (/) and the codes came up pip, tps but they both have been replaced
It isn't so much where the distributor is oriented as long as it's in time. The reason for the orientation in that picture is that is the position that puts the least tension on the wiring harness connected to the TFI and therefore allows the greatest movement of the distributo when setting timing.

Did you ever erase the CM codes after replacing the parts. The codes stay in CM for quite awhile.

Does it run rich and miss all the time? Or just when hot? Or when cold?

I would suggest that you check the cam timing FIRST. Then get the distributor orineted as shown above and get the ignition timing set, spout out. Once you are sure of those two things then continue trouble shooting.
how exactly do you set the cam timing, because my friend has a timing light and we are going to change the tfi today and i want to do the cam timing also but i dont know exactly what or how that is, thank you, and it misses all the time but it gets worse the longer its been running
Check your email. I sent you info on cam timing & ignition timing. Note: the cam timing must be correct before ignition timing can be properly adjusted.
