One of the nuts holding the downpipe to the turbo on my car has rounded. Before I remove the nut, I'd like to buy a new one so I don't drive around town with no exhaust. Does anyone know the thread size and pitch of that nut?

By the way, if any one local to me wants or needs a T5 from an 86 in exchange for a six pack of dark ale. I'd like to get it to someone who can use it more than I.

Thanks.
The studs are oddball, but I think a 7/16 will work, I think it's standard pitch, whatever the common pitch is for 7/16. Like I said, I'm not sure but I think that's it.

7/16-13 should be right. Coarse thread, I remember finding some at Advance Auto. They don't stay on good though, you need a locking nut (not nylond kind) or some other way of locking them on there, maybe a lock washer if you can. The old nuts stay on because they are probably locking, but also because they are so rusty.
Thanks, John.
