Ok, my car is finally here...Siver with the Raven interior...What do you guys suggest for dash repair as i know a good dash replacement would be next to impossible to find..Also what mods (minor) can i start with?? (K&N already installed Smile )...Hope to get some pics on here by the weekend...
dashcaps are available, and the guys that have used them say that they are awesome.
CONGRATS! Nice dashes are out there, we have several mint dashes for future projects. I have also install a couple caps. If you take your time and do the detailled triming they turn out pretty nice.
Mods.... open up the exhaust, abc, install cone on van(ditch the ham can)bump timing up to 13. just a few inexpensive (except exhaust lol) mods to get you started
Congratulations. Here re some good starting points for mods: http://www.turbotbird.com/techinfo/Mods/Mods01.htm
Though it may not be a modification unless you use synthetics. First thing I like to do is clean up. Change all the fluids (axle and trans) , new fuel filter, doctor the front wheel bearings, Maybe spray some cleaner in the throttle body and idle control valve and my favorite (not really) is to flush the power steering fluid. Undo the return line, send the return into a huge jug, plug the reservoir, have a friend crank the car and turn the steering wheel while you pour massive amounts of new fluid in. You may get sick when you see the 23yr old fluid coming out. LOL

+1 on that.

I would also go through a basic tune-up and put on new spark-plugs, wires, dizzy cap, fuel filter, check the brakes, maybe do a radiator flush. I would also inspect the suspension, ball-joints, tie-rod ends, control arm bushings, All these things may need attention if they haven't been replaced recently.
