Greetings...Well to make it short and sweet, I've just purchased my first Turbo Coupe! I found a rust free, never driven winters (Minnesota) and very well cared for 1986 TC, 5-speed, 111K mile car, loaded with everything that I can think of, that even came on the 86 models. It's all there including the covers for the fog lights! I'm the third owner and bought it from a good friend's dad, who happens to collect and restore Fords of every model and year.
It will be replacing my 93 LX/GT 4-door Escort (built that thing from the ground up, GREAT little car) and will see active duty as my summer work cruiser.

I'm really not sure what to expect as it pertains to the car but I remember them NEW and have always wanted one. It also helps that I work for the local Ford dealer, so pieces and parts (if needed), original shop manuals and a very few NOS parts, should at least be an option. It will be kept completely original!!! If it is not obvious...I'm very excited about the project and look forward to to the NATO fourm, it appears as though there are several on here that "Know What They're Doing"!!!

Good luck on finding 22 year old manuals at dealers.
We do have info on getting some from Helm and other places that may have reprints.
Thanks, guys...I'll get some pictures up. The dealership I work for has been here for 88 years and the second floor storage area is FULLLL of service manuals dating as far back as 1974. I'm sure with a little effort, I can route out at least a few supplement copies...I hope. Time will tell.........
Welcome to the board. Sounds like a BEAUTIFUL TC!
