Hi! I bought a 1988 Turbo Coupe and it ran good untill one day it just lost all power! The car started fine went down my drive way stopped and went to leave and it was like the motor had no power it was still running but running rough you know like bad gas so I tryed to rev the rpms up but it really wouldnt go past 1500. After about 3-4 of the car running rough stalling and starting back up the car will not start any more. Now I can spry starting fluid in the air filter and she starts but will die if I dont keep giving it a shot of starting fluid.
I'm new to all of the so I bought a scaner and this is what can up.
41 exhaust gas oxygen sensor voltage signal always lean low value does not switch
42 exhaust gas oxygen sensor voltage signal always rich high value does not switch
63 throttle position sensor signal voltage too low
65 electrical charging system problem occurred voltage to high over 17.5 volts or
engine control system never went into closed loop fuel operation or
transaxle problem- overdrive cancel switch was not cycled during engine run self test
72 insufficent manafold vacuum change detected during dynamic response portion of engine run delf test or problem with message center control assembly- failure in data communications link or
power interrupt detected
I have 1.02 volts on the TPS and 12.09 volts on my batt.
These codes came with the scanner I got(code book). So where should I start to trouble shoot?
