We all have had gas,90w oil, diesel, ect get on your shands and skin and seems no amount of cleaner will remove the odor. Try spraying WD40 on and work it in for a minute or two then use a good hand cleaner. Works great for me and i work on heavy equipment and diesels for a living. Let me know if it works for you ! (my other favorite use of WD40 is for walleye and perch fishing, been using it for 20 yrs)
Thanks for the tip!!! I will try that next time the wife tells me I smell bad after working on a car project.

Whenever I work with 80W90, especially if it has limited slip additive in it, I wear the oldest, crappiest clothes I have (I have lots of old crappy cloths), and throw them out when done with the project.
I just don't wear clothes when working on my rearend.

Is that with or without using WD-40?
It's all in the lube...

Snap-On brand pumice hand cleaner is the cats ass.I used it at a friends house after an afternoon of quad wrenching.I had him get me the kit from the Snap-On rep. who comes into his work.($30.00,with dispenser)You will never use anything else after trying it.
Plain ol rubbing alcohol works for me. I just soak my hands in it. Oh and a good moisturizing saop afterwards....
a teaspoon of sugar and some dish soap work really well. i use that combo in a pinch
