This is a great site. I look at and post some over on TurboFord but over there someone's always disagreeing with someone else or something. This is by far the best site for our cars. Thanks to Pete D and all the other Moderators and Great Members. I have read every post old and new in the past 2 years and all of the Archives and still visit several times a day. Gotta Love It!!!

sorry if i was part of what made you post this! as i stated i dont have a werking computer as of now so my phone has to do for now. i was up late screwin with the bird last night and have not been on here awhile and completly forgot to search. i feel that i am a good mechanic atleast on heavy equipment at werk even if i am only 19 but i am still learning how picky these cars are, reminds me of the street sweepers at werk! oh and i like to ussually spell words how they sound!

Sandlewood88, you are not the reason this thread was started. It was started a couple days ago.
We appreciate those that at least try to help themselves by doing a little research. That is how learning takes place. Some do a lot, some do a little. The 3rd type doesn't want to do any, they just spoon fed like a baby. After a couple "suggestions" about the research part, they either get with the program or get ignored. It isn't that we got an attitude, but we have answered some stuff hundreds if not thousands of times. We put our time in. This is not aimed at you. We know "stuff" happens and some times a person just really needs a quick answer. We don't mind that, especially if we see they generally try to do the research.
i beleive no one here has an attitude you guys are very knowlegable about these cars i love my bird and i appriciate the sugestions and tech info! i did find out my compresion is low on num. 4 so i gess ill tear into it. gess now is a gude time to get crazy with the car and rebuild and replace stuff! again great site and thank you for the help! hopefully i can make ij to carlisle sum day!
i believe pete has stated everything that i meant, and like ive stated numerous times, i am not trying to start anything here, but apperently, i cant voice my opinion without starting something with people. so im just going to leave it at that. I mistyped what i meant about typo's and what i really should have stated was what Matt S stated.
I try to read almost every topic just to gain knowledge on these cars, and apperently, and i have had problems with the search engine as well, i just did not realize it was not as user friendly as i thought, and i retract these statements.
im not out to start with anyone, so dont give me hell, like i said, im not perfect either, but apperently, people take it as i think i am.
Just keep up the good work. I'm replaceing the head gasket on my Bird. I have found lots of info here that has helped me; never would have known about the Ranger roller conversion.
Some times a little steam must be released or the alternative is explosive.
I enjoy reading all the posts and the knowledge gained has been great. Again; keep up the good work
