Can you beleive it?! Brand new Motorsport 9mm race wires and I'm getting jolts off them like crazy. I guess every company has bad mondays [Image: rolleyes.gif]
I put on a set of cheapy wires and the sputtering dissapeared completely. Nice to drive a smooth running car again.

As for the popping around 10lb boost...well it's back only worse.I've got alot of flex hose in the fender to connect the K&N and mabe it's collapsing. Tommorow I'm going to put it directly onto the VAM and see what happens.

Keep ya posted, Bob

I have been running the stock motorcraft replacement wires (not 9mm) on all my cars without problem. Every once in awhile it's possible to get a bad set, like with anything. The part number is in the part number forum.

I could hook you up with some decent wires from BC here.
"Aurora, SS spiral core."
I'm melting plugs with my MSD and no wire probs at all.
I just took out a set of Bosch Supers, the reg plugs, and am putting in some Bosch coppers.
Great thing is car never missed a beat, started first crank all the time.
My Ranger with DIS and new NGK's cranks and cranks till it fires.
It has same wires but needs the MSD attention.
I had Accel 300+ race wires on my turboCapri woth the super coil and they worked fine.
My parts guy says I should've goten the Morroso wires like he suggested and probably never would've had this prob.

Stock motorcraft wires are the norm for a good wire set that works well.

Personally I prefer and use Taylors. They have a High Energy set specifically for the TC that runs about $22-28 available from Summit and others. I have never had a problem with them in over 6 years of using them.
Nate, what size are the Taylors? I assume you're talking about the Spiro-Pro's that Sac Mustang sells??
