Not bad! If I was going to redo my interior, I think I'd paint/dye the dash and upper parts of the console a cream color and reupholster the seats in the same color, with dark red piping. And the parts that are brushed aluminum now would be repainted in a solid aluminum color. Then I'd get the door panels and carpet out of a T-Bird/Cougar with the dark red interior. I like those really gaudy color schemes they used on higher-end cars in the 50s..

I've seen a bunch of mid-80s Cadillacs that had similar interior color schemes. They looked VERY sharp IMO, especially in blue/white and red/white. I did see one though that looked like shit--literally. Had a turd brown dash/carpet, and everything else was piss yellow. I've never seen anything so awful!

Noname

BJL, where did you get the clear corners from? They look pretty good.

Also, what's the best kind of paint for doing the interior like you did?

Hey Sandman,
I already beat him to the punch on the white interior too.
My white with blue pearl and burnt hood 87 TC, has the interior painted like my orange one, but white/blue pearl. Been done since Thanksgiving....

BJL, looks good!!

90 Notchback--turbo project!
I don’t care if you copy, just remember I had mine second to jonser!
Its Toyota color super white and well at night if I turn on my dome light kinda hurts my eyes.
I just used Dupont ChromaBase for it and cleared it, well I didn’t my friend did for me I just tore my interior apart cuz he was doing his Toyota’s interior. I guess the best type of paint would be flexible paint cuz I kinda messed it up putting it in some spots cuz the door lock cover flexed in one spot and cracked, but fixed it already
Ha, the clear corners
Manufacture is me, thought about it and all I did was use silver reflective tape on top of clear plexy glass, just removed the amber one. I have a real clear reflector I will be putting in it before Carlisle, looks like shit at night with the lights on.
Next step I have on the turbo bird is the hopefully better engine and then I gonna be putting the blue neon’s underneath the car and inside the car. Gonna look sharp.
I’ll keep ya posted
