Well don't look like I can celebrate long on the 3g install

I've got an interesting sound coming from I'm pretty sure its the back. Id say its like a click or a thud that occurs when I start from a stop it occurs no matter if i start from 1st or 2nd. It sounds like something is giving way as I start driving. While this will sometimes happen through out the day it seems most proximate in the morning or when the car is parked for a while. I also have a rubbing sound from the back driver tire. That I'm pretty sure its the brakes not releasing correctly, is there anything else that is a likely suspect?
Now Likly are the sounds caused by the same issue? (I'm hoping for just brake issues)
My TC has made a click/pop sound from the rear of the car since I bought it 12 years ago. Could just be the torque causing the rear to shift in its bushings...

No way to tell for sure without hearing it though. If you shake the *** of the car left/right, does it do it then?
Loose lug nuts, loose driveshaft bolts, Put it on a lift and start checking. Even run it in gear to find the rubbing noise.
Check u joints they could be dry and or need replacing
its looking like u joints and the the back was locked up.

What bran of u joint is good, my mechanic buddy was telling me he used to use spicers instead of what the auto parts store has to offer.

Also im trying to decide why my brakes were seized up, im thinking its the parking brake being stuck on, but can some explain and/or maybe show some how these work, i havent seen parking brakes on the calipers before. All of my cars before have had drums in the back.
Spicer's are good.
Could be the E-brake cable(s) binding up or it could be the caliper. The floating pins for the caliper ofter freeze up. There are plenty of past post of that issue. Here is an article on rebuilding rear calipers that may be of help.

Ok new questions.......

So I have determined that I need a new yoke for the trans I have found the aftermarket that fits but it would be without the balancer they guy at the shop said that would be fine worst case the shaft might need to be balanced

Now the other thing is the joints I got are the standard neapco u joints and hw suggest I vet the performance ones but they are not greaseable. Should I go for the performance grade even if they are not greaseable. In my experience greaseable is what you always want so I don't see how the performance series would not be greaseable.

Any thoughts?
Performance joints have smaller rollers and a larger TRUNION this makes for more surface area and bearing load. Normally HP joints are not greasable for TWO reasons. The ZERK FITTING knocks out the balance. and the fitting usually does not do a good job of sealing well and allows moisture in. But the main thing is the BALANCE ASPECT. Thank You
