if anyone can help me please feel free to email me.we replaced the motor, had it running and it just quit took it to the back yard Ford dealer they got it running for about 36 hrs parts replaced: distributor, coil, the plug to the distributor, wiring from plug , the sensor on the intake (air bypass?),
new ignition switch, fuel pump relay, i belive that we still have fuel but dont show spark to the distributor.
thanks Joseph
Throwing parts at the car hoping one of them will fix the problem is not the way to go. I would demand my money back from the so called mechanics that replaced a bunch of likely good parts without doing a correct diagnosis to find the real problem.

Verify the EEC is powered up in start and run. Verify fuel pressure is correct during crank. Verify injector pulse during crank. Verify coil pos terminal has 12 V in start and run using a test light. Run KOEO codes to verify no sensor is disconnected, and sensors are all within expected range. This should not be a hard problem to solve!
