How many gph is the stock in tank TC pump? And what range should the stock fuel pressure be set?
I think 88 lph.
Yup, it is the stock Ford in tank pump used on millions of Fords.... 88 lph, which is roughly 22 gph (assuming 1 liter = 1 quart, which is pretty close). That, of course is the "free flow" rating. As fuel pressure increases, flow rate decreases fairly rapidly.
Ford EFI systems set at 39 psi with NO vacuum on the regulator... With vac it will fall to 30-32 psi, and it should increase 1 lb for each psi boost, or 44lb at 15 psi boost...

The TC pump is the same one used with the HO 5.0, lesser Ford products(std 5.0, 3.8 etc) use a 60 lph pump... The Super Coupes have a 95 lph...
turbocoupe 50-i think your figures may be off. when you add 15 psi of boost, you add 15 psi of fuel to the BASE fuel pressure setting, which is 39.

39 psi fuel + 15 psi boost = 54 psi fuel pressure seen at the injectors.

and according to some testing i did awhile back, the stock 88lph wasnt adequate from the get go.

my results were as follows:

paper air filter stock TC. stock EVERYTHING, 5 spd 88. fuel pressure fell to well under 50 (47.5) at 15 psi in 4th gear. wideband showed a lean condition of over 13.8 for most of the gear.

added cone filter, gillis boost valve set at 15, and unbolted the mufflers (just cat and piping) pressure fell to 46.5 at 15 psi in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and held less than 44 in 4th. AFR showed 13.8-14.9 respectively.

3 inch exhaust no cat, AFPR set at 40 base, boost at 17 + pre-listed mods. fuel pressure fell off to almost an even 40 in 4th gear. pinging was evident, timing was pulled to almost nothing, and AFRs were over 15:1.

stock should have been 155, any mods at all and you need a 190, best to just stick in a 255 even for a BONE stock car.

Yes I know its 39psi plus boost... That's what I get for trying to count fingers and toes three times LOL...

Sorry 'bout that...

BTW I've repl 5-6 pumps in stock TCs, every one was a Carter general replacement unit and all held 53-55psi under full boost through the gears... I won't buy another though , cause the 110 lph Carter in the 5.0 TC died in about a year and a half...
