i just picked up a 88 turbo coupe today, all stock 5 speed. started fine when coming here...stumbled some under a load, figured the gas in it was bad since its been sitting for a while, throw some fresh gas in and went on my way and it seemed a little better. got home and parked it and when i went to start it back up it just cranks and cranks and cranks, when i turn the key you can hear the fuel pump prime. it seems like plenty of spark but not enough fuel...
havnt gotten my hands on a correct fuel pressure tester yet to check FP but i did put on a new fuel filter...i did mess with the car again today, took me about 10-15 mins to get it to start and stay running...but i got it running and it ran for about 15 mins and once it got warmed up it just died like it did last time...the check engine light was on so after the car died i pulled the codes and got...
41...65...72...
41-lean
65-vaf input low
72-power interupt
now it also didnt want to rev that good, if i floored it, it was spit and stumble around 2500 rpms and bounce around, if i gave it half throttle it would bounce around 2000-3500 rpms, but it would not go any higher... any more ideas?
