Every once in a while I get a misfire at idle like the car is going to stall but it dosen't also at about 3300 RPMS under full boost (17 PSI) the tach starts to float back and forth I have replaced the distributor and still the same problem I have also replaced the module. Has anyone seen this before?!

An occasional miss at idle is totally normal. Even the best-running 2.3ts will sometimes cut out for a split second while idling, it seems to be an anomaly with the computer. It should never stall or have a dramatic RPM drop though, nor should it be frequent. Mine usually only does it after it's been sitting idle for 3+ minutes or so.

If the tach is jumping back and forth when you get on it, it's definitely an ignition issue. Probably the TFI module. Do a tune-up with *Motorcraft* parts first. If it doesn't go away, get a new TFI module. I know you just replaced it, but a lot of them seem to be bad out of the box. I went through 2 Motorcraft TFIs before getting a good one.
Pull the codes and see what you get. Let us know

All tuned up no more tach flutter but still have the idle problem I have read many posts about other people who have this same problem I guess I'll just have to live with it a small price to pay to drive a sweet car.
