i hate to keep beating an old topic but whats better a blow off valve or boost controller. they both are different but very useful but in what way. id like to go with the e-boost electronic boost controller inside the car but will the boost controller give me that great venting sound like a blow off. turbosmart.com sells some great products for the turbo check it out thanks for any info sorry for same old post later!!!!
No flame or anything but why do so many people seem to think that boost controllers perform the same function as blowoff valves or bypass valves? [Image: confused.gif] I'm pretty new to turbos but even I know the difference between the three...
Both are good. Do a search... both these topics have been discussed at length at least 100 times.

There are two articles in the FAQs under the "Exhaust/Turbo" colume that explain both.

Good judgement comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
