Any tips for actually getting this thing off from the engine side? I had a horrible leak and stopped driving the car (would lose a quart in 20 miles and it was causing excessive smoking) only to find that the oil feed line was cracked at the first bend leaving the motor side.

I've tried a few different wrenches and can't get anything to turn in there due to lack of space. Any tricks of the trade, or am I just gonna end up taking forever to get this thing off?
Forget the wrench. I had the same thing. Just break it off, it's brittle enough, and unscrew the manifold enough (like 1/2 a turn) to get the line pointing up then unscrew whats left. Actually, I think I broke it off by turning the manifold. Replace it with a maxpsi line. The new line comes with a new manifold.
I agree, just break or cut the old line and do what firstsvo said.
A line wrench is good for working on the other end as it's 5 sides mean less chance of stripping the fitting.
i like to use my small pair of knipex cobra pliers to remove/tighten them
Part ordered, thanks guys
i was able to get my 11mm shorty wrench from matco back there and turn it about 1/8 a turn at time and flipping the wrench, takes a lil bit of time, patience, and awkward hand positions, but you can get it, i didn't tighten the line 100% when i fired off the new engine and had a dripping oil leaking when ti was running
