Well, the stock downpipe does get really small at the bends, but i'm not sure that this bargain 2 1/4" "race pipe" will make much of an improvement. And just how exactly (I won't even venture to ask why) do you paint the inside of a 5-foot long pipe?

gillis valve set at 18lbs, k&n cone on VAM, removed A/C belt, unbolted exhaust at track,
best 1/4 mile: 15.10 @ 89.25mph
UPDATE: car blew the turbo on 8/17/01, so it'll be off the road until next summer when i can fix it.
