So lets start with the basics

1. k&n or free flowing cone filter
2. 3inch exhaust
3. boost controler
4. 255lp fuel pump
5. afpr
6. fmi
7. timing (optional)

These are all items after u perform the basic tune up and replace faulty sensors to get your bird running top condition for best performance.

List things im missing if any i just want to get what i need to make 275-300hp
Check out Stinger's website FAQ for a nice little write-up.

Scroll about 1/3 down for the "What mods do I need for "X" hp?" Section.
well that dont help me much i mean u cant just turn the boost up and cross ur fingers
So get a wideband O2 to keep an eye on things. Some ported intakes, home ported head, ported E6, T3 pushing 22#'s and you'll be in the neighborhood of 300 horses.
Good morning Gentelman. Well to get to 300 HP its a stretch without a stand alone. The stock computer may not be able to support that.I think the stock computer is basically limited to app 285 HP +or-. So i would think a head and cam from Bo Port and a stand alone tuner is a must. You will also need a bigger turbo. Good luck and have a good day Sir
What are you talking about? The stock ECU can be modified through a simple J3 chip, or the new Moates Quarterhose, to support well past 285hp. A stand alone at the 300hp level is simply a waste of money.
The OP already has almost all he needs to acheive 300hp. The T3 turbo and 35# injectors are the only real limitations to go above 280-300 hp. Both will be about maxed out at that level. He needs to pick up some ported/gutted intakes, and a mildly ported head to put himself there with what he has now. A wideband O2 sensor/gauge makes sense to be able to monitor what's going on.
ok i do have a 85 upper and lower intake should i start by gutting the upper and porting the lower
actually what i should say is that i can barely beat a 5.0 with what i have done so far which really pisses me off ive talked to some guys out here that have had some crazy fast turbo coupes one of which has ran 13sec with no exhaust stock ic ihi on 20psi crush fpr. so i dont see y my set up aint fast i really need someone to look it over and tell me y?
He might've run a 13.9 with those mods, but that's as far into the 13's as he ever got.
Yes, you should start by gutting a 4square upper and porting a 4square lower intake. Having a mildly ported head, even with stock valve sizes, is going to go along way also.
Get a wideband O2 gauge and sensor to keep track of whats going on with fuel. Trying to tune without one is pretty much pointless, unless you just like replacing/rebuilding engines.
What cam do you have installed? If it's a stock style slider, is it in good shape? If they're worn, it's leaving alot of power on the table.
As far as porting intakes and heads, if you don't want to do it yourself, PM me, and we'll work something out.
As far as "barely" beating 5.0 mustangs, you need to remember your TC is about 500#'s heavier, and only has a four cylinder, with very mild modifications. Be proud of the fact you CAN beat them. As for whoever told you they ran 13 flat with the minimal mods listed, they either aren't telling you everthing that was done, or they're blowing smoke up you butt, because it ain't happening with those mods. Period.
With the way my life is right now, I don't have a bunch of spare time, but I'm willing to help a person out as long as they're going to go about it in an itelligent manner.
The T3 will get your 300hp to the tires with 25psi, good IC, and some octane with a stock engine. Boosted85 you have the small IHI. That turbo will get you 240hp to the tires and is a real good match to the stock 35lb injectors.

If you don't want faster than low 14's mph. Keep the stock vam, ihi, and stock 35lb injectors. With the mods you have listed above all work well with that setup.

If you want to go faster T3 is an option, but you really don't have any additional fuel. Back in the day people always stated you could run a 300hp with stock stuff. I believe that in a 2800lb mustang, our fat cats/birds, its hard. I have/had the fastest car with stock injectors, but I used methanol injection. Too make up the fuel difference and for additional octane.

Good luck,

Travis
