I saw an episode of Trucks! on TNN yesterday and Stacey was recovering the seats from an Explorer. The replacements were made by Katzkins and looked pretty sharp.

I found their site called katzkin.com which I think is the same company. As you might guess, they do not have an application for Thunderbirds prior to 1994, but they do have Mustang sport buckets with knee extenders from 87+. As I recall the seats are pretty much the same.

Has anyone tried these covers or do you know if the Mustang has the same seats?

I have asked the same question. I have been told that the GT Mustang from 85-88 are the same, but I wouldn't buy any based on that. Does anyone out there have any experience with this?
