I just saw this over on Turbo Ford, I have never heard of this car, but I really really want it.

anyone that lets a car like that go into that bad of shape should be shot on site, and the car donated to.....me! lol
I do not like the sport nose or molding though, but is def a cool car
This car is a conversion. Pretty cool car. Back in 85 when I bought my TC and freind of mine bought a V8 that was just like my TC. It had the same trim without the Turbo logo's, had the same dash,interior, wheels and suspension, and Turbo Coupe blue. The bad thing about his car is that he was faster then me.

Your friends car would have been the 30th Aniversary Edition T-bird, Ford built 5,000 of them in 1985.
I have always thought that they were a real nice looking car.

I have the original article from Popular Hot rodding in June of 88. Its a V8 with a T4 Garrett Turbo & Intercooler. If you want, I can scan the article & maybe post it on this post if its not too large or send it to anyone who wants it.

WOW! JUST WOW! 13.25 mph with 350 hp? SOunds like fun...real shame the guy has it all messed up. But im sure after reading how rare the car is he'll bring it back to life.
