With the absurd prices of t3 oil return lines (even used ones), I've been tempted to custom fabricate one myself. I've considered just welding some sort of fitting onto the bottom of the center section and using a steal-braided line to connect back to the block (i've heard that using a rubber tube is not a good idea). Do you guys think this would be a safe alternative?
Also, I've given up on the idea of retaining my intercooler in it's stock location with the new t3. Not only would I have to machine off the flange and figure out a way to securely mount the intercooler hose, but i'd have to find a way to connect the oil breather cap line and the wastegate flange as well. So instead I've decided to weld some sort of elbow onto the compressor outlet and simply use a front-mount IC instead. But then I'd be eliminating the two vaccuum ports on the intercooler....Would I even have to worry about that? And as always, thanks for any help.
