Just wanted to introduce myself to the list - I'm new to the list, but not new to the Turbo Coupe - I bought my '88 new in October of '87. Black with black/grey interior, fully loaded. My wife used the car until last year, when I finally bought a new car for her. Now I can do whatever I want to do to this car!
Right now I'm trying to cure an idle problem, and from looking at this list, it may be a simple matter to resolve. Also have the blinking climate control syndrome, and was able to pull code 02, from information on this list. This is a great source of information!
Later,
Rudy
Welcome to the board. There is a butt load of knowledge here and everybody is friendly and willing to help out in any way.

As for your idle problem....I would suggest cleaning out your IAC it is a small cylinder that sits on the back of the throttle body. If that doesn't cure it then I suggest following the instrustions in the Tech Articles section of the web site on how to adjust our Throttle Positioning Sensor. Hope you get it fixed

Again Welcome

Welcome to the message board. Try what Matt suggested. Also check the throttle linkage for binding and see if the return spring is broken. If those things don't get it pull the EEC codes.
