I'm curious as to which ignition coil everyone uses and what works best.

------------------
85.5 TC 5 speed, Ranger Roller cam, 3" exhaust system, manual boost valve, large VAM, SVO PE computer, front mount Motorsport intercooler & sport grille, ported upper and lower intakes, flow matched injectors, ported E6 manifold, 245/45/17 wheels & Tires,140 mph speedo,Motorsport lowering springs, under restoration
I'm running an MSD Blaster coil. I never had a problem with the stock unit. Sis you see the picture I put up in your other thread. If that is th eright part and you want a spare, I'll send it to you.
MSD blaster coil here too.... the one that is a direct bolt in. Never had any problems with it, but didnt really notice any difference in performance over the stock coil.

What's the advantage of the MDS over stock? Is it the cost?

I think it pack a little more power than stock. When combined with the 6AL, it gives you 3 sparks instead of just one, below 3000 rpms.
I just put in an MSD coil, the bolt in one.I also put in a MSD Digital 6 ignition and the SDS will be going in this week-end.

Right now the stock one but the MSD will be going back in soon. No difference in performance but can't justify paying for something and not using it.
