How much does the lever to my wastegate need to move to relieve boost.
this is something I am trying to figure out on my twinturbo project.

Thanks Andrew
The spec I have for very early Ford T3s is this: With 10 psi +/- 0.5 psi applied to the WGA, the WGA rod should travel 0.015"
This is from the 1992 reprint of "2.3 EFI Turbocharged Engine" manual, reprinted by permission of Ford Parts and Service Division
So it dosent need to move much to relive boost presure. I thought it was more than that. I just dont want to over boost my stock 5.0
The specs I gave are where it is suppose to start to open. Nowhere does it say how much boost it relieves at that amount of opening. The more boost you have, the more it will open.

Remember that this is the spec for the T3. I do not know if this is the spec for the IHI. The IHI is set to open at the same PSI but I don't know how far it opens at that spec.
