Got to have help guys. My supension is giving hell. My Auto-Ride on my '88 TC T-Bird is having problems riding out off firm ride. When I take it out off firm ride the ride goes funny and the indicator blinks saying there is a problem. My question is how can I fix the problem and/or test it find the bad part. I sure as hell dont want to take it to the Ford shop to fix, for they charge me a arm and aleg for fixing it the first time.
To put the PRC in diagnostic mode, locate the 2 pin connector under the ash tray, and jumper it. With the PRC switch in AUTO, start the car, and remove the jumper within 20 sec of starting. The FIRM light will flash out codes similar to the EEC code test. The PRC codes are 1 digit codes. Run the test, and get back to us with the results.
