The entire WG/flapper is built into the turbine housing. Removing the turbo would be the easiest way.

Oh, ok. Alrighty. I hope I don't have to replace the wastegate but that may be my prob. of only boosting 5psi.

...I forgot some clamps, not sure how, but I did. The IC to Turbo clamp and both IC to TB clamps...now I'm boosting 15+ PSI. It's awesome. Thanks a bunch Pete, I love you man! he he

Thanks, but I have now broke my stock turbo gauge, not sure how, prolly too much boost or something. I do have another gauge cluster with a 140MPH speedo I plan to install after I change the odometer.

Are you sure it's the gauge. Often it is the line from the vac tree to the gauge. I have seen them just break in two, especially that cheap thin plastic crap. Check the line before changing the gauge pod

Ah, ok, didn't think of that. I may just install the 140MPH speedo into my current cluster. I still have to change the odometer tho.
