Installing a gillis boost valve in my 83. I can't find any of those pesky things that are mentioned in the instructions like bost control solenoed and air pressure wastegate actuator. Could it be as simple as just putting it between the wastegate and turbo?
I am assuming that this is an original TC and not an 83 with a TC swapped into it. On my 83, it was just as simple as putting a line in between the wastegate and the turbo with a boost valve in the middle. I know that the gilles on my 88 had to run up to the vacuum tree from the wastegate. It came factory like this and ran about 9.5# stock. Hope this helps.
