I had a good day today, I bought a intercooler of off 740 volvo, turbocharger of off xr4ti, and intercooler of off t-bird super coupe. I have a question which intercooler would be better ( I am thinking volvo intercooler would be better) and which turbo would be better 88 5speed tc or 87 auto xr4ti? the xr4ti turbo intake side lookes bigger than the ihi that I have on my turbo coupe?

I think the supercoupe is alittle better. think of what it was designed to flow for a 3.8L engine the volvo is only around the size of ours. As for the turbos the one of the 88 is an ihi good spool up time lower boost. T3 longer spool up ~21-22 psi boost.

Just as an example one of my Ihi's hits 18 psi by 3000 rpm
