Ive searched and cant find the answer here so, what can I do about not having an alignment tool for my clutch? I saw someone said a broom handle would work but I dont have one around thatll fit.
The alignment tool just holds the clutch centered until the PP is bolted down. Try to borrow one. Most clutch kits include a plastic one. see if a parts store or a shop will loan you one
Thanks Pete didnt think this was something the parts store carried but it was, a whole 2 bucks..

I eyeballed the alignment the best I could when I put the pp on by using the existing wear marks and a very large bolt but still not comfy with it so Ill pick this up just to be sure.
Clutch alignment tool is the only way to go. If you don't have it aligned, when it comes time to stab the transmission it will be almost impossible.
i use an old input shaft with the gear cut off....it's a perfect fit. those plastic ones are sloppy!
