the Monroes feel just as stiff as the PRC firm setting. I dont think the baloony feel is the shocks or the struts. I wonder if I should replace my Quad shocks? It just seems like the car has to catch up with the steering comands.

how many miles do you have? check your bushings. mine are shot and the car is a lot of fun to drive that way (as long as you like it to wander like mad and wag the tail. I am about to put poty bushings in it, you may want to check on them
