i have a miss in my new tc i just bought, i just did a complete tune up, cone filter, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and it still misses and hesitates, could this be because of a vacuum leak or something of that nature?
Have you checked the timing? Fuel pressure?

Try pulling the codes and see what you get. Report back to us!
i just had a similar problem with my 88 it was tfi pip problem
sorry to ask this but what is the tfi pip? and how do i check that or fix it
There is an article on the TFI/PIP in the tech section. Smile
ok that says it runs fine after a minute or so mine runs fine for about a min. then it happens and it doesnt get any better
As Ryan said, pull run a complete code test (KOEO, CM, KOER) and see if anything shows up.

What tune up parts did you use? Motorcraft? What plugs did you use? These cars are very picky about the type / brand of tune up parts.
Also make sure you gap the plugs correctly when you put them in. These car don't have a typical .044 gap, you have to gap them between .032-.036
i used motorcraft plugs and ford racing 8 mm wires, could it be the egr valve because the line that runs from the egr valve is broken?
I dont know, I dont have an EGR on my car and it doesnt miss. Yea, make sure all the tune up parts are motorcraft and that you check timing and fuel pressure.
