Galaxie over at turboford.org wrote this. Does anybody know of this bird.

I BOUGHT A WRECKED AND BURNT 85 TURBO COUPE LAST WEEK I GO OVER TODAY TO STRIP OFF THE GOOD PARTS AND NOTICED A FEW FUNNY THINGS FIRST IS THIS CAR NEVER HAD AIR AT FIRST I THOUGHT SOMEONE TOOK IT OUT BUT THE HEATER BOX HAD NEVER BEEN APART SO I LOOKED AT THE CONTROL PANEL NO MARKINGS FOR AIR SO THEN I GET THE DASH PLATE BACK OUT OF MY TRUCK AND THEY HAVE PLASTIC PIECES THAT COVER THE AIR DUCTS AND THEY HAVE FORD PART NUMBERS ON THEM . HAS ANYONE EVERY SEEN THIS OPTION I HAVE OWNED 2- 86 ,1-84 , AND 1 83 AND NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE . IT ALSO HAS A PC1 ECM I THOUGHT THEY WERE IN THE 83-84 .
PC1s came with the five-speed 85 and 86 TCs and XR7s.

I'm fairly sure the A/C could be deleted on special order, also it was optional on Canadian TCs.

Three 1988 Turbo Coupes .....
yea one of em has a 5.0 And runs 13.1s......
uhhh make that [email protected] with a 90hp shot of nitrous.
I have seen cars 1986 and before with manual windows no a/c and an analog clock. They are rare as they are cheepies usually brought in by a dealer to lure customers in with a low price but realistically few people will buy a model like a t-bird which is stripped. I believe in 87 a/c became standard not positive though
