Hello.

Where can i find frezze plugs made of steal not brass and Axhaulary shaft and Distributor gear?

Thanks.
Any parts place in the US would have the freeze plugs, so I would assume the same would be true in Iceland.

If you have no success locally, try someplace like Summit Racing.

As for the gear and shaft, I would try a Ford Dealer, or you can try http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/i...eid=213787

Shiny Side Up!

Nope not here, and about the rest you are not gonna get it from the Ford dealer in Iceland cheap if they could order it for me it would be atleast 6 times more expensive then i would just order it my self.

And summit does not have the correct frezze plugs, they have it listed but it is not the right one.

I have seen the gear and the shaft on esslinger but it so expensive, was hoping that i would get it some where else cheaper.

But i will take a look at this link, Thanks for the response.

David.
try rock auto... they usually have the stuff we need.
Can i use frezze plugs and cylinder head dowel pins from SHOC 2.3 motor 1977-1994?

I only find brass plugs for our motors, and only steel plugs that i find, is for the SHOC motors.

Has anyone here any experiene of brass plugs?

Thanks,
David.
Are we talking about the frezze plugs in the cylinder head or block

The frezze plugs to an N/A cylinder head are the same as to the turbo cylinder heads, some one would have to back me up on this but I think the frezze plugs to the blocks are all the same too.

Couldn't tell you the diffrence though between brass plugs and steel as in whats better Sad
both
i´m little bit confused, i found all the parts on rockauto but only under 85-86 TC, when i looked under 87 or 88 TC i don´t find these parts, isn´t these engine all the same? then i mean the block, head and distributor and gear?
The dist and gear are functionally the same. Freeze plugs should be the same. Heads should be the same except for early heads that have 1 lower intake manifold bolt hole in a different spot for the older inline manifold. It's the front most hole and many people have drilled and tapped a new hole to accommodate the newer manifolds.
