I haven't posted here for months now, but I have been visiting frequently. A couple of weeks ago, I took my Probe GT to the local dealer at the suggestion of my favorite mechanic. I thought I had a brake caliper leak, and it turned out to be part of the ABS system. Anyway, Ford charged me $88 for a "diagnosis" and told me the part is no longer available. I have found a used part and it is on it's way. That episode got me to thinking about what an invaluable website we have here. I sent a check off promptly to become a "member". I urge the rest of you non-members to do the same. This site is the best $20 bargain in the world. Oh, and now that I finally have paperwork for my 88TC and got it licensed, I will be posting more. Like everone else, my wheels have issues.
Im a bit confused... When i registered i dont remember anything about a fee. I this like brand new and before i got here like two months ago? guess i didnt read everything i oculd

88TC, 210K, Black/Raven, Auto (change soon), just purchased from guy who bought it at an auction, only paperwork was the title. Starting from scratch again.

Daily driver is an 89 Probe GT Turbo which I also started from scratch with.
Trashline, You have the option of becoming a dues paying member, even though everything here is free except past issues of the newsletters.
So why would you want to do that. Look at it this ways; if we have solved one problem for you, you have problably saved the $20 or a lot more. The $20 is kind of like insurance - that we will be here the next time you need us.

Good thread. I also didn't realize there was a "paying" member. Glad to help support. Found a lot of help here... Chuck
I finally sent my renewal check in yesterday, I was woefully a month late... sorry but I agree, best $20 bucks you can ever spend on a TC. May not always be said but we the less informed are eternally grateful to the membership for their input.
