Hey all,
Tomorrow, weather permitting, I will drain my tranny, pop off the shifter and undo it on top of the transmission. I will pour roughly 3-4 quarts of ATF II fluid in. Replace and take for a test drive.
I'm not mechanically inclined so I'm deathly afraid of screwing something up. Does all of this sound correct? All I'll be using is a rachet set and a screwdriver...a pair of pliers and a vise-grip if needed.
Also, does anyone know any good additives to help make the gears extra slippery. They have progressively become harder to shift into as time goes on.
-Joe
P.s. For those of you who have replied to my previous questions, my apologies. I'm a newbie, my TC is my baby, and if I screw her up I've got major problems (:
