Although I've done this before, seems I forgot the tricks. All you need to do is stick the bushing in the new 20 ton shop press you just bought, apply some presure, heat the shells for about 30 secs and the rubber comes right out. The rubber bushings really love their freedom; they fly around the room if you give it enough pressure. Clean up the shells with a wire head and drill, apply that gooey stuff and press the poly in. Everything is installed except for the one shell that I'm waiting for a replacement. The rubber doesn't want to come out with out heat. I never knew rubber could bend steel but that bushing now looks more like a round tennis ball and the rubber is still in it.
