My dad built a 2.3 turbo out of an 87 TC to put in my brothers 89 mustang. The motor started, had lots of oil and fuel pressure, but it ran and just dies out. If you play with the VAM it will run better, but there's a few problems. 1: The throttle seems to have no response at all 2: The cylinders have only 90lbs of pressure, what causes it, what can i do? (gaskets are good) 3: error codes- 58, 81, 82, 84, 85, 88. It just wont keep running unless you open the VAM manually. Please, any help would be appreciated.

1987 Turbocoupe, black, 5-speed, all options besides leather and moonroof, 174K and running strong, K&N air filter with cold air induction, turned up boost, dynomax super turbo exhaust, tinted windows, white faced indiglo gauges, sony XPlod speakers, runs great.
58 - Vane Air Temperature (sensor, in the VAM) voltage too high (open connection in the circuit)

81: 1. Electro drive fan circuit failure OR 2.IAC valve circuit failure OR 3. Boost Solenoid circuit failure

82 Electro drive fan circuit failure

84 EGR vacuum solenoid circuit failure.

85:Electronic Control Assembly status-adaptive "lean" limit reached in fuel control program.

88 Electrodrive Fan Relay, circuit failure.

What computer are you using with the engine? Do you have all the above items hooked up electrically?
