anyone know anything about this new "nitrogen enriched" shell v-power? ive always run v-power 93 in my car but the last 2 tanks ive noticed the new signs that say all grades of shell gasoline are now nitrogen enriched. is there any benefit to this? or just some kind of new marketing?
My guess would be marketing. Something along the lines of: 'Hey lets aerate the gasoline and call it nitrogen enriched.'

Maybe there are benefits. I don't know. But if you've seen the commercials on tv which claim to miraculously clean your valves... it seems a bit like snake oil.

Just my two cents. Notice anything different with your last two tanks?
Total BS, IMO. 1) The air your engine sucks in is 80% nitrogen in the first place. 2) nitrogen is basically an inert, unreactive gas.
they'll get my attention when they enrich it with oxygen...
They do. It's called alcohol.

Yup! All our gas has been E10 for close to 20 years here, since our area has been supposedly shown to be polluted. Funny thing is I dont notice any difference in air quality in the heart of downtown Milwaukee where I work and sitting in a boat on a lake in northern WI where the population is like 2 people per square mile.
