My 86 TC shows a code 82 and code 83. What is it? I just installed a new head and I cant get it to idle long enoiugh to set the timing and such. It also sound like it is running on three cylinders. I also installed a TC throttlebody that has the non adjustable TPS. What are the codes and what may be my problem. Thanks
I think those are the fan codes, that is, the ECA can't see the fan relays. This would be the one with the LA3, right?

??? I'm not aware of that model.

Plug wires on right?, cam timing right?, VAM plugged in? PCV hooked up including the underside of upper intake? Use gaskets for the IAC and TPS? TPS using the rubber gromeet that goes around the shaft? Spark plugs tight, gapped right?
Walsted, yes it is the 86. I figured that it was the fan codes but I did not want to bug you. As for what you asked Pete The timing is dead on, plugs gapped right, It is a TB of a 92 Tbird 5.0l, which is nonadjustable. I will check the PCV. The only other change is I am running a HKS SSQ BOV, because the Eclipse BPV was bleeding and a crack in the recirculation hose. All suggestions welcome.
